Director of Concessions
The Director of Concessions will work in conjunction with the Vice President of Operations and the Director of Tournaments in ensuring the tournament concession program is executed successfully.This position is eligible for a league stipend.
The Director of Concessions will be tasked with the following:
- Ordering and stocking food and drink for the concession stand
- Picking up miscellaneous product needed
- Coordinating staffing for the concession stand during tournament weekends
- Ensuring food safety standards are maintained
- Ensuring cleanliness of concession stand
Director of Field Maintenance
The Director of Field Maintenance will work in conjunction with the Vice President of Operations in maintaining In The Dirt Park throughout the year.
The Director of Field Maintenance will be tasked with the following:
- Ensuring supplies are stocked and maintained throughout the year
- Field maintenance days are planned, organized, and coordinated
- Long term field improvement projects are budgeted
- Budgets for annual field improvement projects and has a list of supplies and materials that are needed to maintain and improve the operation of the complex
- Maintains relationship with vendors for trash removal, porta pot servicing, field dirt, field supply equipment, and other vendors
- Coordinates with the Vice President of Operations regarding payments for upcoming bills
Director of Tournaments
The Director of Tournaments will work in conjunction with the Vice President of Operations and the President in executing a top of the line tournament operation. The Director of Tournaments is the lead individual coordinating all tournament operations for In The Dirt Baseball Club. This position is eligible for a league stipend.
The Director of Tournaments will be tasked with the following:
- Managing TeamSnap Tournaments website and ensuring registrations are paid for and accurately accounted for
- Communicating with teams regarding questions about tournaments, schedule requests, rules inquiries, etc.
- Setting up umpire schedules and working with umpire partners to execute all games in the tournament
- Coordinating and reserving field space for the different tournament events and communicating to site leaders the plans and schedules for each weekend
- Ordering and maintaining stock on tournament trophies, baseballs, shirt orders, etc.
- Posting scores from tournaments and updating brackets after games are completed each weekend
- Ensuring proper field coverage is arranged for each weekend to maintain fields and operate concession stands
Director of Player Experience
The Director of Player Experience will work in conjunction with the Vice President of Operations in promoting In The Dirt Baseball Club to the community, creating opportunities for players to receive more exposure, and identifying trends and opportunities to improve the experience of players in our organization.
The Director of Player Experience will be tasked with the following:
- Working with marketing partners to create a social media plan and strategy that creates awareness for In The Dirt Baseball Club as a whole and also for individual players in our organization
- Organizes a summer camp led by In The Dirt Baseball Club Players on our 16-18u teams for younger members of the community
- Coordinates social media efforts on the following channels: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to recognize players for their accomplishments as well as promote the work the organization is done
- Coordinates all graphic design needs with marketing partners
- Coordinates photo shoots and banner production for all players in the organization
- Works with Board of Directors to identify opportunities to enhance the player experience
- Works with marketing partners to maintain the website as accurately as possible
- Promotes tryouts and works to source new teams and players into the organization that align with our mission and goals
Director of Merchandise
The Director of Merchandise will work in conjunction with the Vice President of Operations in coordinating gear and uniform needs for the organization.
The Director of Merchandise will be tasked with the following:
- Ordering, distributing, and organizing player gear and uniforms
- Partners with merchandise vendors to design and develop new gear for the organization and teams each season
- Directs the operation of two online stores being opened each season to allow players and families the opportunity to purchase additional gear and merchandise
- Coordinates with the Vice President of Operations regarding payments for upcoming bills
