This is the finest private 90′ diamond in Frederick County and one of the nicest in the state of Maryland. It sits on a beautiful plot of land Thurmont, MD. Built by John Tomasini, Jr. as a place for his children to play, it’s maintained to perfection in memory of its creator. It’s shared as a place where young players to enjoy the sport they love.
The infield is fully irrigated to preserve its pristine condition. Maintenance is performed year round. The diamond runs 320;’ to the corners and 355′ to straightaway center field. This is enough depth for older players to avoid HR Derby, but small enough for younger players to enjoy a game on as well. In addition to the field itself, players can enjoy a batting cage and bullpen area, and guests have ample parking.
In The Dirt Baseball Club teams have full access to Field of Dreams. This allows for the flexibility to play games and practice at any time.
