In The Dirt Baseball was founded in 2016 by Jeremey Magers as a catcher’s clinic in his garage. He loved to help kids get better and share his knowledge with the next generation, so he offered lessons, camps, and workouts to kids form all over the mid-Maryland area. He was committed to helping every player who wanted to work hard and pursue their dream.

In 2017, ITD expanded in partnership with Evan Evans. with a commitment to helping kids develop their skills and provide more opportunities to play, we teamed up with Lewistown Fire Department and moved to ITD Park just north of Frederick in Lewistown, Maryland.

Our complex is home to two 60/70′ diamonds and one 90′ diamond as well as several acres of open area that can be used for practice and development.

Over the years there have been hundreds of different players who played for ITD with teams across all ages. They’ve excelled on the field by winning tournaments across the Mid-Atlantic region as well as MABA & FCBR league championships. But winning isn’t everything. We want to ensure we’re pushing our teams at the right level and they’re prepared for the next step in their baseball career-whether that means making their high school team or playing in college. Development year over year is the key for how we measure our success-not by the number of plastic trophies we collect.

On the field we teach our players not only the skills to play baseball at a high level, but also the way in which they should carry themselves while in uniform. This includes being positive influencers, showing sportsmanship, and exuding confidence.
